JESUS IS NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS BUT FOR LIFE!

The following Bible passages point to the vicarious, substitutionary atonement of Christ's death on the cross:

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,

John 10:18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

And almost all things are by the law purged with blood;
and without shedding of blood is no remission.



God always prepares His people:

The Passover:
God promises 'and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you.

The onus is on us to obey in carrying out His instructions!

Exodus 12
21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

23 For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

 These Old Testament passages point to the coming of Christ, innocent as lamb and whose blood would be shed for us at Calvary.

At the Last Supper with His Disciples, Jesus said of the wine poured:

Matthew 26:28 "For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins".

God's word also tells us that *Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin".

When we make the decision to make Jesus Christ Lord and Saviour of our life, we are covered by His precious blood that was shed for us. We become ingrafted into the family of God.

Jesus' Parable of The Ten Virgins

1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.
2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
6 And at midnight there was a cry made,
Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.
7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.
13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.


Eternal Destiny !

God promises in the Bible:

Lord Jesus,
I believe that you died for me and that
God Almighty raised You from the dead:

What to do now?

1. Get a Bible, if you do not already have one, and begin reading the Gospel of John, on a daily basis.

2. Join your local charismatic Christian church and attend regularly.

3. Develop your personal relationship with God through daily prayer.
